В большинстве случаев работы в эфире радиолюбители стран СНГ отказываются от использования самодельной приемно-передающей аппаратуры и переходят на современные импортные трансиверы. Как известно, стандартом для таких трансиверов является обеспечение выходной мощности на уровне 5-100 ватт. В случае необходимости увеличить выходную мощность до уровня указанного в лицензии (от 200 ватт до 1500 вт для разных стран) приходится применять дополнительные импортные усилители мощности, стоимость которых в некоторых случаях даже превышает стоимость самого трансивера. This book describes the fundamentals of design analysis, fabrication and construction, in which the author refers to 250 built examples to illustrate all aspects. International or national codes and technical regulations are referred to only as examples, such as bridges that were designed to German DIN, Eurocode, AASHTO, British Standards. The chapters on cables and erection are a major focus of this work as they represent the most important difference from other types of bridges. An introductory textbook covering the fundamentals of linear finite element analysis (FEA) This book constitutes the first volume in a two-volume set that introduces readers to the theoretical foundations and the implementation of the finite element method (FEM). The first volume focuses on the use of the method for linear problems. A general procedure is presented for the finite element analysis (FEA) of a physical problem, where the goal is to specify the values of a field function. First, the strong form of the problem (governing differential equations and boundary conditions) is formulated. Subsequently, a weak form of the governing equations is established.
