The tremendous influence exerted by Max Weber was due not only to the power of his ideas but also to the fact that behind his theories one perceived a man with a marked character and a tragic destiny. Ich kann nur immer wieder darauf hinweisen: Es gibt nichts Schlimmeres, als sich selbst seiner Freiheit zu berauben. In Unfreiheit leben zu m?ssen, in dem Gewaltsystem der Gefangenschaft leben zu m?ssen, ist nicht nur eine k?rperliche Bestrafung, nein, die geistige Bestrafung ist die viel schlimmere. Die sich einstellende Entm?ndigung, die permanente Willk?r, die, t?glich ausge?bt, kaum noch sp?rbar ist. Der sich einnistende Virus des »Ich kann ja eh nichts ?ndern«, dieses t?gliche belogen werden und das sich damit abfinden. Ich muss dies zwischendurch immer wieder einmal zum Ausdruck bringen. Nicht dass der Eindruck entsteht, dass die Trauer, die Einsamkeit, der Zorn ?ber erlittene Unbill, die Dem?tigungen und die Erniedrigungen gar nicht so schlimm waren, denn sonst w?re ich ja nicht immer wieder ins Gef?ngnis gekommen. Trotzdem nahm ich das Risiko der Verhaftung immer wieder in Kauf, holte mir bei meinen Taten meine »Streicheleinheiten«, meine Best?tigung, ich war zwar auf der falschen Seite, aber da war ich einer, war der Siggi, und ich war gut in meinem Job. ?ber dieses R?tsel, das ich bis heute nicht vollst?ndig l?sen konnte, kam ich schon so manches Mal ins Gr?beln und ich fragte mich: Was war oder bin ich f?r ein Mann? Ein Mann, der andere ihres Besitzes beraubt und der trotzdem von sich sagt, dass er ein ganz normales Leben f?hrt. Ein Mann, der ?ber ein Drittel seines Lebens im Gef?ngnis verbrachte und sich selbst als einen v?llig normalen Familienvater ansieht. Nach ihrer Scheidung, mit 50 Jahren, entschied sie sich f?r ein neues Leben. Sie hatte jetzt die Gelegenheit viele L?nder zu bereisen und entschloss sich in S?d-Korea und Nigeria zu arbeiten. Sie kehrte erst im Rentenalter zur?ck nach Deutschland.
