Bis heute wird aber von – vornehmlich evangelikalen – Kreationisten versucht, evolutionsbiologische Forschung aus solch fundamentalchristlichem Sch?pfungsglauben heraus zu diskreditieren.
Die vorgelegte Untersuchung widmet sich besonders der evangelikalen Vereinigung Wort & Wissen, die seit langem behauptet, die Grundlagen einer wissenschaftlichen «Sch?pfungsbiologie» gelegt zu haben und vor diesem Hintergrund fordert, Sch?pfungsforschung als gleichberechtigte Alternative zur Evolutionsbiologie anzuerkennen. Die bizarre Dimension solcher Forderungen wird vor allem dann deutlich, wenn man aufdeckt, dass Wort & Wissen sich in ihren Pamphleten explizit auf den US-amerikanischen Vordenker Frank L. Stattdessen ordneten sich AG Evolutionsbiologie bzw. AK Evolutionsbiologie einem auff?llig superfiziellen «Naturalismus» ihres biologistisch agitierenden Wortf?hrers Ulrich Kutschera unter, obwohl dieser schon 2004 einen «vors?tzlichen genetischen Suizid der deutschen Bev?lkerung» und ?hnliches verk?ndet hatte.
